PMDD
Welcome to the PMDD Awareness Campaign
Founder: Anna, a Survivor and Advocate
Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) is a severe form of PMS that affects millions of women, yet many remain undiagnosed, misunderstood, or misdiagnosed. Our mission is simple: to shine a light on PMDD, raise awareness, and empower those living with this condition to find the support and solutions they deserve.

What is PMDD?

PMDD is a chronic health condition characterized by severe mood swings, irritability, depression, and physical symptoms that occur in the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle, generally 1-2 weeks before menstruation. While often dismissed as "just PMS," PMDD can be debilitating and deeply affect one’s quality of life.

Our Mission

Our campaign is dedicated to:
-
Raising awareness about PMDD and breaking the stigma around menstrual health.
-
Providing education, resources, and tools for women and AFAB individuals to better understand PMDD.
-
Advocating for better medical research, treatment options, and mental health support.
-
Creating a supportive community where those affected can share their stories and experiences.
-

Why PMDD Awareness Matters
Many women with PMDD suffer in silence, either unaware that their symptoms are part of a diagnosable condition or feeling dismissed by medical professionals. We believe in changing the narrative. Through education, outreach, and advocacy, we can help ensure that no woman faces PMDD alone.
