Wearing Makeup To Be Confident & Ready No Matter What!
Sat in a hospital bed cradling my new born baby in my arms, I felt content and happy and I looked tired. My mum swooped in for a cuddle and while she was cooing over her new granddaughter said to me “why don’t you take a shower, wash your hair and put your face on while I have the baby?”
Now I know to many the thought of wasting precious time on putting makeup on when you’ve just been hit by the truck of child birth is just pure vanity but… at a time when your identity and every move in motherhood is judged, I can’t advocate self care enough. To feel more like you, find yourself again and enjoy the journey.

Sometimes The Smallest Action Can Cause The Biggest Waves!
Ever been watching the box and had a boom Moment, an ultimate realisation?! Last night watching the Big Bang theory I had a huge trigger involving the M word (makeup).
The skit was based on the idea that if more women were stronger, showed up & took accountability, there would be more women in Science, especially physics. Then the world would move on at a greater pace.
But the joke was that if women weren’t strong or lead the way in science then their only option would be to forge a career creating makeup tutorials on Youtube!
Basically it was saying that brains and beauty don’t mix, one is good, one is bad and you can’t have both! Ducking Grrrrr!!!

Daily habits can make or break your success and I warrant putting on my face (which let's face it takes barely 5 mins) as fundamental to me making money and running a successful business.
Why? Starting the day feeling professional, polished and confident means I can take on the day. I can say yes to impromptu meetings without thought. I can go out or make FaceTime calls without second guessing myself. Most importantly, I feel like the best version of myself which puts me in a good mindset, a positive frame of mind.
I am therefore more productive and open to any opportunity that arrises. I’m more likely to create personal social media posts with selfies or even a live stream video.
If someone said there was a pill that could have this positive financial effect on me, I would definitely take it… wouldn’t you?
